So I am just over a week away from finishing my Arabic class at Eton Institute, it was a special offer for Ramadan and I have to say, apart from being confused a lot of the time, I have really enjoyed learning some of the language as well as a great deal about the culture.

not my job
There is a vacant lot in Tecom that has obviously been used as a parking lot by tenants of the surrounding offices and apartment blocks.
I had to have a chuckle when I drove past the other day - the bulk of the lot has been cleared of tar except for two spots where cars have been parked, and abandoned.
Its going to be a lot more tricky moving these vehicles now don't you agree - I wonder why they didn't just tow them to the side of the street before they started?
Haha!

iphone 1 blackberry 0?
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority have handed iPhone users a reason to feel smug - Blackberry services (messenger, email and web browsing) will be suspended in the UAE from the 11th October, according to today's sad news.
